The New Fortuner range is headlined by the new LTD variant in 4x4 and 4x2 which comes in an exclusive design, followed by Q and V variants in automatic transmission, and the G variant available in AT and MT. 

The 2020 Toyota Fortuner pricing starts at Php 1.63M for the G MT variant, assuring Filipinos of great value for money with Toyota’s signature quality, durability, and reliability embedded in the well-loved Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV). With it comes to looks, the New Fortuner LTD’s look is made more striking and more elegant coming in the 2-tone color black roof color lineup, a bolder and sportier front and rear bumper design, and machine-cut 18” alloy wheels. Split-type LED headlamps and LED front foglamps, sequential turn signal lamps, and the redesigned LED rear combination lamps give the LTD variant a more dynamic design while maintaining visibility on the road.

Its Q and V variants also get LED foglamps and redesigned LED rear combination lamps, as well as Bi-Beam LED Headlamps with LED Line Guide - Daytime Running Lights. G variants also now come with Bi-Beam LED Headlamps with LED DRL.

Entry is smooth and easy with Smart Entry and Push Start System for LTD, Q, and V grades. The LTD variant features an elegant interior in leather with maroon accents, as well as galaxy black trim and interior illumination which adds to the sophisticated interior look of the vehicle. The Q variant also gets the classy black leather interior complemented by a dark wood trim.

Over half (60%) of all job candidates in the Philippines were impacted by the COVID-19 in which 17% were permanently retrenched and 43% found themselves temporarily not working. This is according to JobStreet’s latest job report as of August 2020. Employees who are retrenched are the ones who were not working full time and who had been in organizations with less than 500 employees. 

The hardest hit industries which are tourism and travel; food and beverage; hospitality and catering; architecture, building, and construction; and the education sectors. About 98% of hirers have implemented HR changes in response to COVID-19, in which 74% required their employees to work from home, and 55% had a negative impact on the workforce by freezing the number of new hires and temporarily or permanently laying off staff.

Three years ago, a power utility application is approved at MCWD for a subdivision unit as a requirement to occupy the real estate investment. A special waiver is also signed as a requirement for the application telling the status of water supply in the area and that we are warned for the possible low pressure of the water supply. The waiver must be done to proceed the application, the situation must be temporary and MCWD should be looking for a solution to it, the document was signed. It went well for the first two years but fast forward to late 2019 and this year, the water supply has declined that it come to a point that we wake up in the wee hours of dawn to catch when it wants to shed drops of liquid to our emptying pails and buckets.

The water supply crisis is one of the top concern in our community and it is all over the social media and in our own community FB groups. When we saw these posts in facebook, we then conclude that we are not alone in this problem. It is a community problem, but who's to blame? Who are the responsible?

MCWD, what went wrong?, we are not complaining but are just looking for the services that we are entitled to and paid regularly? Your water utility subscribers are here to help if you need it, we understand that its everyone's concern. Here's a small suggestion to get started. At work, when we have problems to solve and tasks to made, we develop a tool to keep a clear view of what's going on. We develop a R-A-C-I chart or matrix.

A RACI chart is a matrix of all the activities or decision making authorities undertaken in an organisation set against all the people or roles. So a role is assigned to somebody as:

R - responsible

A - accountable

C - consulted or

I - informed

By doing so, we should be able to solve the water supply crisis, the Cebu City government and the board at MCWD should religiously make a similar chart above and assign their associates to act as RESPONSIBLE, ACCOUNTABLE. While valued experts and strategist to be CONSULTED, rest of the involve stakeholders especially the MCWD subscribers like us to be INFORMED. We can do it!
