Darren Espanto had his debut in showbiz when he became part of "The Voice Kids", and rose to fame in the music scene with his single and a certified LSS to the mass - a cover of Timmy Thomas 1993 song "(Dying Inside) To Hold You". (I know the song is running on your head again)


In his 4 years stint in showbiz Darren will finally accepted a film role and joining the cast of Star Cinema  movie,  "The  Hows  of  Us,"  which  stars  Daniel  Padilla  and Kathryn Bernardo. Darren Espanto will play as the younger brother of Bernardo's character. This movie is showing in cinemas on August 29, 2018. Darren has previously expressed that he wants to try his hand at acting and acknowledged that he would like to work with Kathryn, as the actress is his biggest celebrity crush.
DARRENatics Team Cebu, one of the strongest fandoms in the Philippines is organizing ‘The Hows of Us Block Screening in Cebu with Darren Espanto on August 31, 2018 at Robinsons Galleria Cebu  – Movieworld Cinema 4 at 4PM to 7PM.

The purpose of the block screening is to support Darren’s first film role as well as the movie. The private screening will be attended by the DARRENatics, their family and friends and some KathNiel Fans. They will be setting up a photo booth along the cinema for movie goers to use. During the block screening there will be a pre-show consists of games, raffle draw and giving of snacks & freebie. A mini Press, Blog and Fan Conference with Mr. Darren Espanto himself.
