During the opening day of the Career hub, an on-the-spot hiring was facilitated and many cebuano jobseekers, as well as employers, found the right match. Thanks to's career enhancement aids such as Tips on Winning Resumes and acing Interviews, there is not doubt that this 3-month long campaign will fuel the employment in the Queen City of the South.
Mary Grace R. Colet, the Country Manager of led the company to become the market leader of online recruitment industry in the Philippines, and is also the one who spearheads the Cebu career hub. "Our country is full of potential, and we are bent on utilizing each potential to the maximum, starting with the people. Cebu is the right place to start this campaign." Showing his support, Honorable Cebu City Mayor Michael Rama led the ribbon cutting to officially open this momentous event last February 25, 2011, along with Cebu's top employers and the media. Mayor Rama, a known firm supporter of the President's 22-point Agenda on Labor and Employment, fully extends his gratitude as his became the choice of for the campaign. He sees the Career Hub as the bond for his vision of Cebu as the flourishing city that he and the rest of Cebuanos aspires to have.
"As we usher in 2011, there is growing confidence in all of us that we may yet see the brighter light of the day. And with that, we know we are slowly advancing our way toward the sustainable city that we all dream about, " Mayor Rama said.
