National Nutrition Council 7 Promotes Good Nutrition through MIND 7

National Nutrition Council 7 has exerted much effort in the Promotion of Good Nutrition with series of Events and Activities. From the Consultative Meeting with the Media and Information Officers and Launching of the Broadcaster’s Manual last November 19, 2010 at Prince Hall, Crown Regency Hotel, Cebu City
The purpose of which is to involve media practitioners in the promotion of good nutrition and the AHMP program as a whole. Regional, Provincial and Network-based action plans will be conceptualized. Basing on these plans, it will be decided on what are plausible and sustainable. Thus, the NNC will provide the financial aspect of these plans.
Last December 21, 2010 National Nutrition Council 7 held its first meeting of the Media Information Network for Nutrition and Development – 7 (MIND- 7). MIND- 7 is the Tri-media and New Media Network supporting Health and Nutrition advocacies of NNC-7. With two main agendas: finalization of Regional Action Plan for 2011 and Election of officers. Their meeting takes place at the PINO Restaurant, Lahug, Cebu City. Outcome of the meeting was the first set of Officers of Media Information Network for Nutrition and Development – 7 (MIND- 7).
MIND -7 Officers Induction Oath Taking
And just in time for Sinulog 2011 in Cebu, National Nutrition Council 7 has successfully inducted the first set of Officers for MIND 7 and finally took Oath to their Respective Position with Radio Personality Mr. Jun Tagalog (from the left, 2nd in the Pic) as the President. The MIND -7 Officers Induction Oath Taking was held at Rajah Park Hotel, Fuente Osmena, Cebu City January 13, 2011.
