My weekend never been that stimulating!

After a half day of work from the office then feels the change of setting from routined workaday from Cebu Business Park to upwind Mactan Island where Maribago Bluwater Beach Resort Rests. Via SM Northwing I meet other members of Cebu Bloggers Society(CBS) where Ruben Licera of Pinoyworld.org and PR of Maribago Bluewater Beach Resort.
At exactly 3:00pm on my phone, we jumpstart towards the destination terminus, where She Embraces the Charm Of Island Living: Maribago Bluewater Beach Resort!
When we reached the resort, we are then given a necklace of sea shells (which i fell makes us very special) and offered a Vitamin C enriched drink and introduced to a tour guide that showcases us the first class of its kind Amenities of Maribago Bluewater Beach Resort. First drop is the AMUMA SPA that includes Facial, Body Care, Massage Treatments. Plus the AMUMA Signature Packages : Hilot Journey and Malakas at Maganda(Couples). Activities like Strtching, Tai Chi and Arnis are also present.
After the tour is the "little chit chat" with the Resorts Big Boss and Managers. Of course with their artistic means of preparing goods to delights their visitors. Everybody in there enjoy it! Guess what next? the Swimming Sessions! We did our wet sessions at the cove and afterwards at the Village Pool I guess that is situated somewhere beside te shark Aquarium. And theirs an assurance that those sharks can't go swimming with us. Kidding!

Today well be the start of the Novena Celebaration of my hometown-Lapu-Lapu City. Old Folks used to call the place "OPON" and until now the word is still widely used especially in around 40s-50s yrs old devotees. Others also termed "MACTAN" for the entire Island but Geographically it is called Lapu-lapu City, one of the highly urbanized City in Metro Cebu and the entire Province.
As part of the tradition the town used to have a "FLUVIAL PARADE" around the Island from Pacific Cebu Resort to Muelle Osmeña Wharf, passing great beaches Plantation Bay, Blue Water, Tambuli and hotels Shangrila, Hiltons and many more luxurious landmarks sitted by the sea.
I used to attend the event but unfortunately last year and this year Im not able to do it because its more on schedules and availability.
Anyways I've got old images from the 2006 Fluvial Parade and Im having it posted for you to have some visual exploration.

A waterspout looms on the horizon in Mactan Island in this photograph by Roland Caranzo. The waterspout, spotted late yesterday afternoon, caused no damage or industries.
How could this be?, Is there something wrong?
What brought the Phenomenon here?

Plantation Bay in Mactan is aloud serene, calm, quite, stil and tranquil.
It's lagoon is immense.
I heard that its beach sand are crushed mountain stones which brings the characteristics
of being cold even under the sun.
It's our compnay outing btaw last week sa Plantation Bay Mactan.
All of us, mga 900 peope, more or less.
Although I live nearby the location of Plantation Bay,
I have no idea of what it would look like inside except the view of entrance gate which i passed by
everytime my family seeks the embrace of the beach or
when my skimmates invites for another tiring whole day skim sessions.
No idea, except the impression that it's very expensive. OO, Mahal.
Wala man sab ko ni-try ug search sa ila website kai gusto nko
ako gyud mismo ang makakita sa ila resort.
And what i just did deserves a worth story to tell;)
Inside was an immense view of a lagoon sorrounded by japanese inspired hotel rooms and suites.
One thing also that i don't know is that the resort is inspired of japanese
motives from the architectures, signages, and the way they prepare the beach with
japanese tables on the sand just like what japanese did in their homes.
Kinda interesting. A preparation like this.

I and Michael, my officemate think of an idea to tour the whole resort by walking
although bikes are available for free use:)
From the Orion's Beach to the Galapagos, down to reception area and the rest of the spots.
ang among naani mao ang singot nga namilit sa among kalawasan coz it was about 2pm i think?
But it was worth a sweat!Ü
The activity flows smoothly even though it rains but still no big deal
coz everybody is here and expected to get wet.
One of the activity that I've tried is Kayaking with Francis, my colleagu,e which is first time nako
and sayon raman diay maybe its because the lagoon is so calm that no waves can
oppose your directions.
There are so many activities like wall climbing, zip line, archery, etc and
I found hard time to manage my itme to try all of it>:)
I spent most of my time in the beach and the ballgames.
For 2 hours we have it intensively with a volleyball game on the over the waistline water:)
Good thing we spend(the team) it on that event.
And with volley ball, we even tried dutch ball game.hehe
Got to go... I'l update this next time;)

I just had my weekend in Plantation Bay.
