Happening at the Mactan Alfresco for the sixth time from August 18 until 21, the Cebu Lechon Festival highlights the culinary pride of Cebu as it showcases the historical significance, exceptional flavors, and cooking techniques unique to Cebuanos behind the well-loved dish.

Lechoneros from across the entire Cebu province, headlined by popular lechon houses Ayer’s, Rico’s, and CNT, gathered for an unparalleled culinary experience as tourists and festival visitors indulged in one of the most diverse arrays of lechon varieties gathered in one place. 

The Cebu Lechon Festival presented visitors an opportunity to avail of their favorite lechon by the kilo at Mactan Alfresco via a special, limited-time discounted promo from these famed lechoneros.

Aside from experiencing and tasting the best Cebu Lechon during the festival, visitors also immersed in the best of Cebuano culture through various activities such as A Roast to Remember, where accomplished chefs skillfully crafted whole pigs into delectably crispy and succulent masterpieces in a live roasting session. 

Guests also embarked on a gastronomic journey at the Pork Party lechon food park, which showcased the finest lechon varieties the region has to offer, and watched the Royalty of the Roast, a grand parade of culture and culinary pride featuring elaborate floats, lively costumes, and the glistening centerpiece of lechons. 

Visitors also took part in the Waves of Tradition highlighted by a captivating series of dance performances that beautifully epitomized the city’s heritage, history, and values. Guests also relished the harmonious blend of melodies and flavors as local bands serenaded festival goers with soulful tunes during Lechon and Listen.
