On its 5th year attendance, Sun Life Financial Philippines Triathlon Team joined the Ironman 70.3 in Cebu August with 13 tri-athletes led by Sun Life brand ambassador Piolo Pascual, actor Enchong Dee, and its very own executives.

Piolo Pascual, Enchong Dee and Toniel Ty formed the first relay team, the trio raced in bike, swim and run discipline, respectively.


Sun Life Executives also seen on action at the race with Chief Investments Officer Michael Enriquez (bike), Sun Life Business Development Manager for Partnership Distribution, Toots Malapad and Sun Life Sales Training & Development Head Ged Custodia.

The 3rd team will also comprised of Diacosa (run), while an all-female team will consist of elite athletes Bea Grabador (swim), Laarni de Guzman (bike), and Charlle Sy (run).



Benedict Sison said it’s a thrill for Sun Life to to once again be part of Ironman 70.3, which is a perfect venue for them to highlight Sun Life’s health and wellness thrust. Sun Life, which has expanded its purpose beyond helping clients achieve lifetime financial security, aims to encourage Filipinos to live healthier lives. 'Twas a light Sunday afternoon at Ayala Center Cebu, listening to some of Cebu’s young entrepreneurs sharing how one can pursue his passion while also enjoying financial freedom in Let’s Have Some FUNds event presented by Sun Life Financial as part of its celebration of Financial Independence Month this June. Event's hosts by Sun Life Trainer and Pop District Bazaar host Jett Pe and Miss Cebu 2011 and ABS-CBN TV personality Mia Ali.



"Money after Graduation" topic is take up by Kaz Onozawa of lifestyle apparel brand "Rhipstop"; marketing and events agency "Spectrum; restaurant "Morals and Malice" & specialty retail "Common Ground" & "Fly". Kaz imparts to both college students and fresh graduates crowd the importance of College since its a good venue to create good network and an introduction to the "real world", so it's important no to take you college friends and classmates for granted. And when you graduate, graduate with a Journey in mind.



After college graduation, you may get a job right away or relax for a bit, you've been in school since kindergarten so you deserve to give back to yourself and enjoy. Get a job to learn and earn, an ideal environment is in the corporate since it will teach you on how to manage people.
