In its continuing efforts to promote Cebu's tourism, 88DB.com, an online service portal, takes part in this year's Sinulog. Through its Cebu arm, cebu.88DB.com, the online service portal will be taking part in this year's festivities by setting up a booth in front of Acha Pizzeria where street performers and the parade will be passing by tomorrow. A photo wall will be set up in line with the Sinulog theme where booth visitors can have their pictures taken. Visitors could feel like they have participated in the street parade themselves as the photo wall features the best of cebu and two characters, a male and female cutout dressed in Sinulog costume.
"This is the first time that we are directly participating in the Sinulog so we are giving it our best," says Mark Balamon, 88DB.com VisMin head. Balamon believes that through this they could better promote the site in Cebu as well as help promote the services of their valued members like Acha Pizzeria.
"Diners of Acha Pizzeria get a free henna tattoo or a souvenir from cebu.88db.com for every food and beverage purchase worth P200," continues Balamon. Booth visitors will also get the same service just by registering on site where they could later download all the photos.
"We hope to promote Cebu as one of the best places to visit in the country and we believe that participating in its grandest festival is just something we have to do. How else can we promote Cebu if we don't experience it for ourselves?" asks Balamon.
